Toll Mounts in West Virginia Coal Mine Explosion

April 5, 2010

Genre: U.S.

This article is about an explosion that happened in a coal mine and 12 people died while 10 were seriously damaged. The explosion happened at 3 PM in Virginia. Some of the miners were leaving in a vehicle the mine but some were dead. Officials tried to rescues some people and they tried to know why the explosion had happened. The explosion destroyed all communication lines thats why they couldnt communicate asking for help. The family members of the mine workers went to the church to pray.

Bias: No Bias

This impacts our lives because we dont know if ten people are still living or if they have already been dead. That is not our only problem. Coal is like one unrenewable source and it was all burned by an explosion. Our planet is in global warming but this is going to affect more the sircumtances. We hope that the ten miners can be found and that our world has less explosions for the case in global warming.
